Avocado
Planted Surface: 117 Ha.

We are a leading player in the production of Hass avocado. The Hass variety comes from the name of the fruit tree, which was originated from a Guatemalan seed, and first cultivated in 1926 at the garden of Mr. RG Hassen at La Habra, California. This variety was later patented in 1935, and entered the commercial market in 1960.

Currently Hass is the most widely grown variety of avocado in the world. Among its main virtues, apart from high quality and taste, is the fact that the harvest season extends for long periods during the year, so it has become the preferred and most demanded variety worldwide.
